How to Use Shared Notes

Shared Note is a feature that is still under testing. Please note that we cannot make any guarantees with how it handles your data.

Please use it in your classes and send us your feedback!

Create A New Shared Note

▼After selecting the "Shared Notes" tab, select "New Shared Note" to create.

For Web version, please select "Shared Notes" then "Create New Note".

Sharing with a specific teacher or student

Change the batch settings for teachers and students to "Not Shared" and add the teachers and students you wish to share from "Add", specifying their selection and permissions.

If you have changed the permissions individually, please select the permissions from the ▼ button to the right of the name after adding.

Caution

The only teacher accounts that can be shared are those participating in "Add Subjects" and "Other Teacher's Subjects".

When you want to check or change members or permissions after creation

Please check or change the icon in the upper right corner of the note screen as shown below.

Set default setting for teacher/student Shared Range settings

You can change the default setting of the Shared Range when creating a new Shared Note.

Default is all teachers = "Manage", Students in class = "Writable".

iPad Version

Select "Settings" > "LoiLoNote" > Experimental Features".

Web Version

Select your name upper right > "Preferences" > "Initial values of "Shared Range".
